DIRECT ACCESS PHYSIOTHERAPY SERVICE - MONNOW VALE/NEVILL HALL
You are now able to access physiotherapy assessment directly WITHOUT the need to see your GP first if you have a musculoskeletal problem. This "first come first served" services is for adults who have a muscle or joint problem, are able to attend the outpatient physiotherapy department, and are registered with us.

Many procedures can now be performed in the surgery, including joint injections, incisions, excisions and coil insertions. Please ask your doctor.
Nurse Practitioner Christina is happy to give advice on all types of contraception. Coil fittings are arranged by special appointment.
Christina is also happy to offer Pre-Conception advice to patients.
Midwife Ellie Hicks holds a weekly clinic at the surgery, each Wednesday morning. She will see patients in their own home when appropriate.
Dr Emma Baker is qualified as a Peer Breastfeeding Supporter and is happy to see patients to provide advise and support.
Baby and Child Clinic
Health Visitor Sarah Pettit holds a weekly clinics (Tuesdays between 1pm and 2pm), offering advice and support to parents. She is also happy to see parents and children in their own home when appropriate.
The Counsellor is available for consultation, following a referral by the doctor or nurse practitioner.
The dietician is available for consultations with patients with certain medical conditions, e.g. diabetes. Your doctor or nurse practitioner will be happy to make a referral to her clinic which is held in Monmouth.
Mr Green, Consultant, Hereford Community Health, regularly at Monnow Vale. An initial referral can be arranged by the doctor or nurse practitioner.
Drugs Misuse Counselling Service
An initial referral can be arranged by the doctor or nurse practitioner and appointments may be made at the Surgery.
Alcohol Counselling Service
You can self refer to our Alcohol Dependance Counsellor, who is in the surgery each Thursday afternoon.
